Pasadena City College’s Concepts in Drawing and Portfolio Development students present: Wanderlust: A Study of Place
Exhibition Dates: May 6 thru July 1, 2016
Opening Reception: Friday, May 6, 5 -7 pm
Using personal research, memories, and imaginings of places that exist or used to exist, each featured artist expresses their vision of an idealized landscape, and how they wish for you, the audience, to see it. Some artists chose places that reminded them of home, while others chose locations that have simply inspired them.
Materials range from colored pencil, ink, and gouache to acrylics and digital media.
Concepts in Drawing and Portfolio Development in drawing are intermediate and advanced drawing courses taught at PCC in which students are encouraged to incorporate their unique individual perspectives into their work.
